- Day 1–2: Arrive Tokyo
Depart on your flight to Tokyo. Cross the international dateline and arrive in Japan the following day. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

- Day 3: Tokyo–Hakone
Take an express train (about 1.5 hours) to Hakoneyumoto. Visit the Hakone Open Air Museum. Over 100 pieces of art created by master sculptors are displayed through the exhibition grounds in addition to a special rotating Picasso exhibit with a collection of over 300 works of his! Lunch is at the museum. Take a stroll of Hakone Gora Park and Hakone Museum of Art and enjoy the beautiful Japanese garden. Relax at the beautiful tea house as you drink matcha tea served with homemade sweets. Check in at your hotel and soak in the hot spring. For dinner, enjoy a spectacular Kaiseki multi-course meal served in elegant dishes.

- Day 4: Hakone
Ride to Komagatake ropeway station up to the summit of Komagatake with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. Enjoy a boat ride (about 40 minutes) on Lake Ashi. Tour Sekisho old station, a historical site showcasing communication and transportation during the Edo period. Walk the Tokaido historic road, the most important of the Five Routes of the Edo period, connecting Edo (modern-day Tokyo) to Kyoto. Hakone Suginamiki, also known as Old Tokaido Cedar Trees Road, is a gorgeous path lined with towering trees and flora. As the traditional road connecting Edo to Kyoto, this was one of the most important routes during the Tokugawa Shogun’s reign. Visit Narukawa Museum of Art to enjoy their fine Japanese art collection and the outstanding sky lounge framing a perfect view of Mt. Fuji.

- Day 5: Hakone–Tokyo
Enjoy a free morning in Hakone at leisure. You may visit Okada Museum of Art, Pola Museum of Art, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Lalique Hakone Museum, Hakone botanical garden of wetland, or Hakone Aquarium. In the afternoon, take a local train and an express train back to Tokyo and transfer to hotel. Your main tour starts the following day.
